Welcome to OwnFit. The trainer dashboard is your home base for coaching: it’s where you bring on athletes, build their training, keep track of how they’re doing, and stay in touch — all in one place.

Who this is for

This guide is for fitness professionals who coach athletes. You work in the web app on your computer; your athletes follow along in the separate OwnFit mobile app. Everything you assign here shows up for them there.

Quick start

Four steps to get up and running:

  1. Sign in to the trainer dashboard with your account.
  2. Invite your first athlete. Send an invitation so they can create their account and connect with you. See managing athletes.
  3. Build a training plan. Lay out days, sessions, and exercises, then assign it. See training plans.
  4. Schedule a session. Add an event to your calendar or set up a booking template so athletes can book you. See scheduling.

That’s the core loop — invite, program, schedule, repeat.
