Welcome to OwnFit. The trainer dashboard is your home base for coaching: it’s where you bring on athletes, build their training, keep track of how they’re doing, and stay in touch — all in one place.
Who this is for
This guide is for fitness professionals who coach athletes. You work in the web app on your computer; your athletes follow along in the separate OwnFit mobile app. Everything you assign here shows up for them there.
Quick start
Four steps to get up and running:
- Sign in to the trainer dashboard with your account.
- Invite your first athlete. Send an invitation so they can create their account and connect with you. See managing athletes.
- Build a training plan. Lay out days, sessions, and exercises, then assign it. See training plans.
- Schedule a session. Add an event to your calendar or set up a booking template so athletes can book you. See scheduling.
That’s the core loop — invite, program, schedule, repeat.
